You are up by 6am, have a cup of tea with a snack and set off for the game drive in the park. Continue to the Narus Valley in the southern half of the park. This is the greener area of Kidepo, hence attractive to the grazers and browsers. It also makes it the hunting ground for the cats and predators. Animals to see include Zebra, Giraffe, Buffalo, Topi, Jackson’s Hartebeest, Lion, Leopards, Cheetah, Waterbuck, Kob, Kudu, Oribi, Warthog, Duiker among others. After close to four hours, return to the lodge and have full breakfast and relax. Later in the afternoon you shall return to the park for the game drive, and still to the Narus Valley. All the water sources of the park that persist to hold water during the long dry spells are in the Narus Valley. During the afternoon plenty of game collects around the water and this is a good time for the game viewing. Return to the lodge to the evening, have dinner and overnight.

You also visit hot springs. There are rather few animals in this side of the park. Return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation. In the afternoon you will visit a local community of the Karimojongo tribe. Experience their culture through their artifacts and dance presentations.
