Day 1 | Arrival

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport. Our driver and/or a representative from the company shall be available to welcome you, transfer you to your accommodation (The Boma Hotel). You shall be briefed regarding the tour and answer all your questions. All meals and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 | Travel from Kampala | Rhino tracking at Ziwa

Elephants at Kazinga Channel

Have early breakfast and set off for the trip at 7am. Pick-up is either in Kampala or Entebbe, from your hotel. Take the Kampala ‒ Gulu highway drive for nearly three hours to reach Nakasongola where you shall visit the Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife Sanctuary located about 10 minutes drive off the highway. Ziwa supports Uganda’s only wild Rhinos. An armed ranger shall lead a 2 hour walk on the sanctuary for you see the Rhinos and also get to observe plenty of other wildlife on the sanctuary including Antelopes. Thereafter return to the Kampala ‒ Gulu highway, transfer to the Kabalega Dinner for lunch and thereafter head north and get to Gulu for the overnight.

Day 3 | Continue to Kidepo N.P. | lunch | evening game drive | overnight

After breakfast continue to the park and check into the lodge, have lunch and relax. Later in the afternoon set out for a game drive, aiming for the water sources in the Narus Valley in the southern area of the park. Lots of animals congregate around the water sources in the afternoon to drink and cool in the water. Buffaloes, Elephants, and several species of Antelope will be sighted. Enjoy breathtaking views of the wilderness at sunset. You will then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 | Safari in Kidepo Valley National Park

Wake up for an early cup of tea and head out for the early game drive. Kidepo Valley National Park is endowed with remarkable wilderness and lots of wildlife including lions, buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hyenas, cheetahs, ostriches, jackals, dik-dik, gazelles… Return for lunch at the lodge before heading out again into the wilderness for more adventure. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 | Kidepo | Murchison Falls National Park

After early breakfast, check out and depart for Murchison Falls National Park ‒ Uganda’s largest game park. You will stopover in Gulu town to have lunch. You will get to Murchison Falls National Park in the evening, transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6 | Early Game Drive | Afternoon Boat Safari

Wake up to an early cup of tea/coffee at 6.00am and at 6.30am set off for the game drive. Expect sighting of Lions, Elephants, Buffaloes, Giraffes, Jackson's Hartbeets, Reedbuck, Uganda Kob, Oribi, Warthogs, lots of savanna birds and wonderful scenery. After close to four hours, return to your accommodation for breakfast and lunch. Later set out for the afternoon Launch Cruise along the Nile to the base of the Murchison Falls. There are lots of wildlife sighting along the Nile, including, Hippos, Crocodile, Buffaloes, Elephants, and lots of water birds. At the base of the falls you can opt of the Launch and hike along the falls to the top of the Falls. You meet the driver at the top and transfer back to your lodge. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 7 | Transfer to Hoima | Lake Albert

Have breakfast and check out of the lodge at 9.00am and travel to Hoima. You will drive along the Rift Valley escarpment and enjoy lovely views of the volcanic landscape and verdant countryside. Lunch En-route. Dinner and overnight at Lake Albert Safari Lodge.

Day 8 | Travel to Kibale Forest National Park

Have breakfast check out of the lodge and leave for Kibale National Park. The drive along the scenic Albertine rift valley continues. You will stopover in Fort Portal town for lunch before proceeding to Kibale Forest National Park. Check into your accommodation that is situated just outside the park. Spend the day relaxing and enjoying the natural environment outside at the lodge.

Day 9 | Chimpanzee Tracking | Evening Nature Walk in Bigodi Wetland

Chimpanzee in Kibale Forest

Wake up to an early breakfast at 6.30am, and transfer to the park offices for briefing. By 8am you trek into the forest to find the chimps and sight a lot of wildlife. Return to the lodge for lunch. Later head out for a nature walk in Bigodi Swamp for sighting of primates and birds. Dinner and overnight at the accommodation.

Day 10 | Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, check out of the lodge and head for Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will stopover in Fort Portal town for lunch. Get to the park and drive to Mweya while enjoying the breathtaking scenery of beautiful craters lakes dotted across the lush landscape. You will get to your accommodation in the late afternoon, and spend the rest of the evening enjoying the beautiful nature across the park.

Day 11 | Game Drive | Boat Safari on Kazinga Channel

Wake up to an early cup of tea/coffee at 6.00am and set out for an early game drive. Game to see include Lions, Buffaloes, Elephants, Hyenas, Kobs, Topis. The scenery is amazing with crater lakes and grassy hills. After close to three hours, return to the lodge for breakfast. After lunch, set out for the Boat Safari on the Kazinga Channel that joins Lakes Edward and George. The channel attracts a plethora of wildlife including: Hippos, Buffaloes, Elephants, Monitor Lizards and lots of water birds and wonderful scenery.

Dinner and overnight at your accommodation.

Day 12 | Early Game Driver | Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Tree Climbing Lions at Ishasha

Wake up to an early breakfast, check out of the accommodation and travel to the southern area of the park called Ishasha. This area is popular for the tree-climbing lions, and if lucky you may see them. Other big game in this area include Elephants, Topis, and Buffaloes among others. Lunch in Ishasha, thereafter travel southwards to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Check in at your accommodation, Silverback Lodge, for dinner and overnight.

Day 13 | Gorilla Trekking | Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Wake up to an early breakfast at 6.30am, pick packed lunch and transfer to the park offices for briefing by the rangers and assign a gorilla group you shall track. At 8am transfer to the start of the trek and head into the forest to find the Mountain Gorillas. You are allowed no more than an hour with them, return to meet your driver. Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for a relaxation experience.

Day 14 | Early morning Canoeing on Lake Bunyonyi | Transfer to Kampala

Lake Bunyonyi

Wake for an early morning canoe on Lake Bunyonyi and thereafter check out and travel back to Kampala via Mbarara. Lunch is en-route at Ajip Motel in Mbarara. You shall make a stopover at the Equator in Mpigi for some picture moments. Proceed to Kampala and drop-off at your hotel.

Day 15 | Kampala | Entebbe

Today you shall do a tour through Uganda’s capital Kampala. Visit the local markets, the historical sites, religious and cultural centers. In the evening transfer to Entebbe for overnight at the Boma Hotel.

Day 16 | Departure

Transfer to the airport for flight back home.
