Kirk’s dik dik in Tanzania

Kirk’s dik-dik in Swahili: digidigi (Madoqua kirkii)

Shoulder height: 35–45 cm; weight: 6–8 kg. Smaller than the steenbok and easily identified by its large white eye-circle, this adorably dainty antelope has a range focused primarily on Tanzania and Kenya. Usually seen in pairs in dry woodland, it is particularly common in Arusha and Ruaha National Parks.
